Job description
As a Machine Vision Intern at Sakar Robotics, youll have the unique opportunity to dive into the fascinating world of robotic vision, working at the intersection of technology and innovation. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to develop, implement, and optimize machine vision algorithms that enhance the perception and interaction capabilities of our robotic systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and optimization of machine vision algorithms for object detection, recognition, and tracking.
- Contribute to the integration of vision systems into robotic platforms, ensuring seamless operation and data flow.
- Participate in the design and testing of image processing and computer vision applications, from conceptualization to deployment.
- Collaborate with the software engineering team to implement algorithms in software, with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability.
- Support the evaluation and selection of cameras, sensors, and other vision hardware components.
- Document processes, results, and methodologies, contributing to technical reports and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field with a focus on machine vision or image processing.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages, with experience in computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts applied to computer vision.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a keen interest in technology and robotics.
- Previous project or research experience in machine vision, image processing, or related areas is highly desirable.
