About role
The Technical Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and
maintaining relationships with prospects as well as identifying and qualifying new leads.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical products and services
as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical
audiences.
Responsibilities:
Generate new sales opportunities by following up on leads attending trade
shows and cold calling.
Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining if they are a good fit
for the companys products or services.
Build relationships with potential customers by providing them with information
about the companys products and services and answering their questions.
Track sales metrics and report on progress to the head of marketing.
Generate SQLs and achieve set goals.
Stay uptodate on industry trends and competitive products.
Participate in training and development programs.
Achieves department and organization goals by accepting ownership for
accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to
job accomplishments.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or Master s in Management
4 years of experience in Inside technical sales
Strong understanding of technical products and services
Prospecting relationship building and lead generation
Ability to overcome objections and refusals in a courteous friendly way
Professional interpersonal oral and written communication skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong customer service skills
Ability to meet and exceed set goals
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CRM software
Experience with email marketing
Experience with social media engagement
