Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules' firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Requirements

Should have significant Technical writer experience - 6+ years -Preferred domain Telecom/ Billing.

Experience with DITA based professional technical writing tools and standard graphics tools.

Familiarity with end user documents like User Manuals, Installation Guides, System

Administrator Guides, and Functional Description.

Excellent Organization, Communication, and Interpersonal skills.

Experience in working with extremely complex technical solutions.

Basic familiarity with SDLC and Agile method of working.

Ability to perform in a multi-tasking and team-oriented environment.

Mandatory skills:

• Should have previous experience of technical writing preferably in the Telecom/ Billing Domain
• Excellent command of the English language and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in clear concise and simple written form is required.
• Good experience in writing and editing end user documents like User Manuals, Installation Guides, System Administrator Guides, Functional Description, etc.
• Sound Knowledge of document editors such as MS Word, ArborText, TagTool, Adobe Framemaker, Oxygen XML Author
• Content Management sustem such as DITA CMS and Ixiasoft CCMS
• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Illustrator, SnagIT, Adobe Photoshop, MS Visio.
• Knowledge regarding agile methods would be given preference.

Exposure to platform/OS systems, Linux and related system aspects would be added advantage

Job Responsibilities

• Use superior writing skills and extraordinary attention to detail to conceptualize, plan and,
• develop high quality documentation.
• Create/Edit images and flowcharts using Visio and SnagIt etc.
• Work with Development, Quality Assurance, and Product/Project Management to ensure appropriate creation and timely delivery of technical content for product releases.
• Follow corporate style guides to ensure a consistent look and feel for publications.
• Able to handle multiple projects and perform independently or in a team environment.
