This role sits within the Securities Services Operations Data Hub organization. The position will be based in Mumbai.
As a Securities Services Operations Data Hub - Data Transformation and Visualization Associate within the Securities Services Operations Data Hub organization, you will be responsible for delivering key data & metric programs to enable decision making for Securities Services Management. You will interact with operations teams and senior stakeholders across the organization, translating requirements into end state data products. You will have the opportunity to build solutions leveraging Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or REACT, adhering to data management and solution governance standards. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, requiring minimal supervision and the ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
Job Responsibilities
- The role is for an Associate who will be responsible to deliver on key data & metric programs to enable decision making for Securities Services Management.
- The role will involve understanding the business of securities services, interaction with operations teams and senior stakeholders across the organization and translation of requirements to end state data products.
- The individual will be expected to build solutions leveraging Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik Sense or REACT based on the agreed solution for each program delivery and ensure adherence to data management, solution governance standards.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Familiarity with a global bank's process & operational environment. Demonstrates strong customer centric approach & ease of storytelling using visuals
- Knowledge of interactive data visualization best practices
- Sound experience of Tableau concepts like filters, parameters, sets, actions, date and time functions, data relationship model, knowledge on Tableau extracts/hyper refresh, connection types and user’s permissions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, collaborate with geographically dispersed terms. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field with minimum 3+ years advanced analytics experience in large data environment, Computer science, Engineering
- 1+ years of financial application development Masters with advanced analytics experience preferred. 3 or more years of experience with Tableau and/or Qlikview Tool
- 1 or more years of experience with Alteryx or any other ETL Tool. Experience leveraging data to support business decision-making
- Ability to write SQL queries, experience with scripting language such as Python/R is an added advantage
- Experience with visualization software, preferably Tableau, Qlik Sense, REACT.
- Experience managing and working with large databases, data management, including understanding of various data structure and common methods in data transformation, data validation
