About Project DEEP:

Project DEEP is a Mumbai-based non-governmental organization (NGO), registered as One Step Forward Foundation, dedicated to eradicating poverty in India through unconditional cash transfer programs. The aim is to empower individuals and families to break the cycle of poverty and achieve economic independence.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Associate. The chosen candidate will be crucial in supporting various aspects of our unconditional cash transfer programs, including program management, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, communication, and fundraising.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring unconditional cash transfer programs.
• Engage in research and analysis to inform program development and decision-making. This will require you to travel to and stay with tribal communities for a few weeks.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery.
• Support in strengthening relationships with partner organizations and government agencies.
• Support the development of communication materials, including reports, presentations, and social media content.
• Contribute to the organization's strategic planning and fundraising efforts.
• Perform other tasks that are of interest to you and the organization.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a related role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to thrive in a startup environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in creating presentations, reports, and other communication materials
• Knowledge of poverty alleviation tools and unconditional cash transfer programs is a plus
• Fluency in English and Hindi is required; knowledge of other Indian languages is an asset

Compensation:

The salary bracket ranges from INR 30,000 to INR 50,000 per month. Compensation will be based on experience and skill sets.
