JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position title: Specialist - PCB Designer

Location: Hinjewadi Phase 1, Pune

Work Schedule: 5 days, General Shift

Mandatory Skill- Altium

Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop schematic, placement, and layout designs in adherence to Designer guidelines and IPC standards.

· Collaborate with Sourcing and PCB/EMS vendors to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and cost optimization.

· Plan and execute prototypes before finalizing the design for launch.

· Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for PCB design.

· Work closely with the Mechanical team to integrate electronics into the product assembly.

Educational Qualification:

· 10 to 12 years of relevant work experience

Work Experience:

· Must be proficient in Altium Designer, including the A365 interface and library management.

· IPC Designer Certification (CID) is a valuable asset.

· Possess a solid understanding of Mechanical CAD integration and the ability to read Mechanical Drawings.

· Familiarity with Power Electronics design and layout considerations.

· Knowledge of electronics components, gate drives, and electronic devices and circuits.

· Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Strong communication skills for effective vendor coordination.

Must Have:

· Altium A365 Server Project Management and Library Management Experience

· EMS (PCB Manufacturing House)and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) Negotiation Experience

· Worked on High Power PCB board designs, More than 100A of current

Good to have:

· Atleast in his career done HW testing, Board level debugging

· Integration of PCB and Mechanical box build know-how
