Purplle - Video Content Creators Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Languages Purplle, India's leading beauty destination, is looking for female video content creators in Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu languages, who are passionate about expressing themselves on Youtube and Instagram. The role is for young women who are fluent in their regional language, can speak well on camera, and have a knack for creating video content for social media. Fluency in multiple languages will be an added bonus. A passion for beauty content would be an added bonus, since Purplle is a beauty retailer, but this is not absolutely necessary - since beauty can be integrated into other kinds of 'Lifestyle' content too - shopping, travel, bollywood, motherhood etc. - as long as the host is a relatable female. These are full-time remote positions, where the opportunity is for the candidate to become one of the 'faces' of Purplle, by locally producing videos (in Bengali/Tamil/Malayalam/Telugu) that are of interest to her, as well as videos promoting the Purplle platform and beauty products. The role would include ideating and conceptualizing with the Purplle team, planning all the content, and then actually creating the videos - shooting and basic editing. Responsibilities: - Independently conceptualizing, producing and creating long and short format content from beginning to end - this includes research, scripting, featuring in the videos, and basic editing & optimizing videos to send to Purplle. - Working with other content creators and our in-house team to create interesting and exciting content, especially concepts for promoting the Purplle platform, and all its promotional offers and sales. Purplle will provide you briefs on various products and promotional offers/sales, and you will need to think and create reels and short like ad content around those briefs - in your own style. So thinking creatively and then the ability to actually create the content - independently and efficiently - is a must-have. - Should be ready to learn to create direct video content (long & short-form content) for Youtube and other Social media platforms. - Identifying social media trends and keep in touch with the latest Youtube and Social media practices & trends Must be: - Interested in and/or knowledgeable about media and video content creation. - Interest in Lifestyle content - beauty is a bonus, but not mandatory - A good communicator, especially on camera - Fluent and well-spoken in Bengali/Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam - any additional languages are a plus - Creative and up to date on social media trends Personal attributes: - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to meet deadlines consistently - Innovative and creative, able to work alone and be productive - Self-motivated, with a disciplined work ethic Other Notes: 1 position Female candidates only - Age has to be 18 years or more Employment Type: Full-time + Remote Experience - 1+ years of relevant experience Purplle - Video Content Creators Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam Languages We will provide all the basic equipment required, as well as training the candidate in all aspects of content creation.
