Job description

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Consultant to join our Retail Business Unit. As a Presales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical and business support to the sales team, and for helping to develop and deliver winning solutions to our clients in the retail sector. You will collaborate closely with the sales and delivery teams to provide pre-sales support and drive growth in our retail services business.

Key Responsibilities: • Partner with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop and deliver compelling solutions that meet their needs. • Act as the primary technical and business liaison between clients and the sales and delivery teams. • To stitch together value proposition from multiple cross functional practices and create a holistic solution based on client needs • Leverage your understanding of the retail industry to identify and develop new business opportunities. • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to clients. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and provide thought leadership to the wider team. • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery.

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred. • 5+ years of experience in presales, consulting, or related roles, with a focus on IT services and solutions in the retail industry. • Strong technical background, with experience in one or more of the following: digital commerce, supply chain management, merchandising and store operations, data analytics. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and communicate technical information to clients and internal stakeholders. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions. • Ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in the retail industry. • Experience with cloud-based solutions and digital transformation initiatives.

Ideal candidates would be: · Someone who comes from a development background and understands product development · Someone who understands and has worked in retail IT domain (Not CPG) · Candidate who understands and has worked in proposal building, responding to RFPs, working with delivery to get solutions, etc
