Responsibilities
The OT Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and enhancement of OT systems and equipment. This position will involve troubleshooting and support of complex OT infrastructure deployed at Company. The candidate should have knowledge of OT/IoT/ IIoT environment and should have hand-on experience in dealing with SCADA/PLC/DCS systems. He should be adaptable and fast-moving, with the ability to independently lead operations and projects in addition to being responsible for daily activities.
Roles And Responsibilities - Implementation/support of Cyber Security requirement for IT & OT /IoT environment.
- Actively participate in Security design/controls discussion of security projects.
- Implement and support OT security: IDS / IPS/ Risk monitoring solutions.
- Suggest changes as and when needed for company OT/IoT Infrastructure security.
- Prepare documentation for company 's IT/OT/IoT Security projects.
- To maintain high levels of professional conduct, including but not limited to, cooperative engagement in tasks
- To assist in the evaluation and testing of new technologies, as directed.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing security and governance operations at the site and discuss the same with business teams.
- Provide support for cyber security audit and assessment activities
- Assist internal team in gaining and maintaining accreditation for relevant compliance frameworks.
- Assist BU teams for deployment of OT security controls like AV , WSUS , Backup restore and secure remote access
- Performing gap assessment of OT systems across different Bus.
- Participate in FAT and SAT activities of new projects.
Qualifications Educational qualifications: - Bachelor's degree relevant to Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics & Comm, Electrical, Instrumentation (or equivalent)
- Having Hands on experience of OT/IoT/IIoT environment
- Having knowledge of IEC & NIST standards
- Good Presentation, communication, and reporting skills
- Relevant industry security certifications such as will be preferred -
- ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist
- IoT/IIOT security certifications
- Network security certifications
Experience: - Minimum 1+ years of experience in Cyber Security
- Minimum 2 years Hands on experience of implementing IoT/IIoT projects .
- Detailed knowledge of IT/OT networking systems, Vulnerabilities, and software.
- Working experience on IoT/IIoT devices
- Having knowledge of HES and MDMS in Smart meter solutions
- Understanding of OT Architecture and design principles.
- Liaise with other OT teams to design solutions for new infrastructure implementations
- Hands-on experience in IT/OT security devices
- Field experience in ICS and OT systems.
- Ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts, as well as knowledge.
- Advanced knowledge of IT/OT Vulnerabilities and remediation approaches.
- Advanced skills in gathering requirements and designing / implementing / supporting security solutions
- Knowledge of ISO-27001 framework and security controls.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
