Job Description
Key scope area would be to build competitive advantage of the company by establishing new products manufacturing with focus on Quality, Productivity, investment & profitability targets as per business requirements
- Ensure adequate manufacturing layout and production handover for new product establishment
- Lead all new product development activities across the organisation and ensure necessary process and manufacturing capabilities
- Manage and project CAPEX for procurement and supplier development
- Maintaining SOPs, safety guidelines, BOM validations, and Quality control across functions
The Successful Applicant
- A strong Mechanical / Automobile Engineering background is a must for the position
- Atleast 12+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, new product development in an automotive industry across any category (2/3/4 Wheelers/Tier 1/2)
- Exposure to suspension, exhaust, clean energy, emission control etc would be highly preferable
- Exposure to Welding Processes like MIG, MAG, TIG - both semi-automatic and Automatic (Robotic welding) would be desirable
