About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Writer who excels in both the technical and writing realms. The ideal candidate is passionate about crafting comprehensive, accurate, and approachable content for users, go-to-market teams, and developers. You thrive on understanding what your audience needs to know for success and are adept at writing content that elucidates the 'why' behind the 'how'. This role is not just about creating documentation; it's about engaging and educating our users and internal teams through clear and impactful communication.
Your Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Content Development: Craft in-depth, informative documentation including in-app user guides, help articles, instructional videos, and product release announcements, tailored to users, GTM teams, and developers.
- Software Interface Writing: Create concise, user-friendly helper texts, CTAs, and labels within the software.
- API Documentation: Produce detailed documentation for our API, making complex concepts accessible for technical users and developers.
- Collaborative Documentation and Team Coordination: Work closely with Product Managers, the Go-To-Market team, and Engineers to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with product updates. Maintain a consistent voice and quality across all materials.
- Engaging Training Material Creation: Develop interactive training materials and in-app assistance, focusing on content that is both informative and engaging for internal teams and external users.
- Ongoing Content Maintenance: Regularly update documentation based on user feedback, product changes, and evolving industry practices, ensuring continual relevance and effectiveness.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
- A proven track record in creating various content types, particularly API documentation.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, emphasizing clarity and user engagement.
- Experience with CRM applications or similar platforms preferred.
- Strong collaborative skills, thriving in a dynamic work environment.
