Job description
Coordination with operations team for negotiating documents with bank. • To overlook / assist related to banking work whenever required. • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles considering taxation aspects. • Coordinating with CS • Insurance • • Preparation and Presentation of final Balance Sheet and P&L Statement & consolidation of accounts. • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. Monitor, Control and Check day to day accounting work. Verify the accounting entries vis-Ã-vis vouchers, etc supporting and authorize the same. Scrutinize the books of accounts and as deemed necessary, initiate corrective actions. • Checking Commission statements monthly and coordinating with shippers for remittance • Coordinate and complete annual audits – Statutory, Tax, Internal & GST audit. • Liasioning for ROC work • Preparing advance tax working – Quarterly. Job Description Page 2 | for internal circulation only • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles. • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy in coordination with the VP Finance and MD. • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions. • Preparation and Presentation of final Balance Sheet and P&L Statement • Monitor and check statutory work like IT, TDS, GST • Preparing DP Statement • Periodically monitor Payroll processing • Coordinate and complete annual audits – Statutory, Tax, Internal & GST audit. • Liasioning for ROC work • Implement a process in SAP to streamline the reporting requirements (balance sheet, P&L, budgeting) • Monthly trial balance reco. • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles. • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy in coordination with the VP Finance and MD. • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
