We are looking to recruit an Electrical Draughtsman to work on rapidly growing and evolving EV Charging Infrastructure with a strong work ethic and meticulous planning. You will get an opportunity to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and play a vital role in growth. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for detailed designing, drawings, layout and associated electrical activities to set up Modern, Smart and World-Class EV Charging Facilities . Responsibilities Accountable for site visit and feasibility, measurements, and physical marking on the site. Ability to prepare rough sketches and detailed drawings in 2D & 3D with CADD systems. Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software for parking and charging infrastructure layout of the hub. Ability to follow instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings using drafting standards. Identify standard set of products for each site (i.e., type of chargers and substation configuration) Accountable for electrical design considering the power requirements (depending upon the number of cars and chargers), maximum peak load, etc. Assemble documents and develop drawing sets to be reviewed by electrical engineer or architect. Interact with engineering personnel and other staff to resolve identified issues. Prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams, single line diagram for electrical equipment, working drawings, wiring connection specifications, cable routing, cable tray / raceway routing, earthing, and grounding system design, lightning protection, etc. Explain prepared drawings to manufacturing or construction teams. Determine project specifications and functional requirements. Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and contractors to resolve electrical issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Monitor and train various technicians and drafters. Perform a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed. Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards. Skills Required Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software. Working knowledge of electrical circuit / electrical network and design. Knowledge of power distribution system. Familiarity with 3D modelling tools. Good math skills. Ability to understand technical drawings and plans. Accuracy and effectiveness in drafting. Well versed with drawing symbol and standards. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Draft experience related to electrical substation design. Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn new technologies and methods. Qualification & Experience BTech / BE Electrical or its equivalent qualification, 3+ years’ experience. Compensation - As per the Industry StandardsJob tags
