Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Assistance:
- Greet customers and assist them with scheduling service appointments.
- Listen to customers' concerns and questions regarding their vehicles and provide informative and helpful responses.
Service Scheduling and Coordination:
- Schedule service appointments based on the availability of service bays and customer preferences.
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Vehicle Inspection and Documentation:
- Conduct initial inspections of vehicles to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Document customer concerns and vehicle details accurately for the service department.
Cost Estimations and Quotations:
- Provide customers with accurate cost estimates for necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Explain the scope of work and associated costs to customers, ensuring transparency and understanding.
Upselling and Service Recommendations:
- Suggest additional services or maintenance based on the vehicle's condition and manufacturer recommendations.
- Educate customers about the benefits of recommended services to enhance their vehicle's performance and longevity.
Communication and Follow-up:
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles during the service process.
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns they may have.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Address customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
Administrative Tasks:
- Handle administrative duties such as invoicing, payment processing, and maintaining accurate service records.
