File Configuration Specialist (834 standard EDI/Carrier file/Vendor File) , H & W Domain

Experience Range :- 6-15 yrs.

Location: Noida /Remote

Shit Timing : 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm IST

1) Skills Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented File Configuration Specialist with expertise in EDI and US Benefits Administration.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of benefits administration processes, extensive experience in file configurations, and proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to benefit data rules and their relation to associated file integrations.

2) Role Overview: The Electronic Data Interchange Systems Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing internal and external technical support as a key Integration Interface resource. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining existing data interfaces, as well as designing and implementing new interfaces.

These include, but are not limited to Payroll, HRIS and Eligibility files. The File Configuration Specialist will serve as an ongoing technical support contact, engaging in research resolution for both internal and external resources. The specialist will also create and maintain detailed documentation of benefit plan configurations, benefit data, and file integrations.

3) Core Skills:

• Strong understanding of US Health & Welfare Benefits Administration processes and regulations
• Proficiency in EDI standards and file configuration
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work in a fast-paced environment

4) Technology Skills Requirements:

• Proficiency in working with benefits administration software and platforms
• Experience with EDI tools and technologies
• Proficient in post version 9 Actian Data Connect mapping and data extraction
• Working knowledge of file and data interchange formats such as CSV, XML, JSON, X12
• Proficiency with the rules and standards governing the ANSI X12 (HIPAA) 834 transaction set

• Knowledge of SQL for querying, manipulating data and researching issues
• Understanding of FTP/SFTP setup for secure transmission
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant software/computer related fields preferred
