Job description
The Java Developer will join an existing team and be responsible for their own amazing career progression in a Financial Technology company. You will be working with a disruptive open banking technology platform.
As Java Developer, you will be working in a fast-pace start-up environment, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Work with Product Managers to understand and analyze business needs
- Design, build and maintain the in-house loans and savings platform
- Integrate third party components into the solution
- Optimize and re-factor existing code
- Investigate and fix defects and other issues
Gojoko Technologies also offer support with training, most of which will be done in real time on the job training but we are happy to put people through courses to develop and improve their skills.
MUST HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years experience in Java
Have worked on Spring framework and worked on IDEs such as Eclipse, VS Code
Have worked in developing REST APIs
Familiar with concepts such as OOPS.
MySQL and Hibernate.
FURTHER DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Familiar with Docker and Jenkins.
Follows best practices and coding standards
Design Patterns and Data Algorithms
Good with Spring Annotations
