Req # 1 - PeopleSoft Administrator

Designation: PeopleSoft Administrator
Experience: 6+ Years
Location: Hyderabad, Uppal
Notice Period: Immediate
Working hours: EST / Semi EST based on project
Roles & Responsibilities

· Installation, administration, security and maintenance of the infrastructure supporting the PeopleSoft applications, including web servers, database servers, application servers, process scheduler, report servers, and file servers in Windows and Unix (oracle, AIX, Linux)
· Download and install PeopleSoft Update Manager Images, bundles, and fixes.

· Apply regularly Tax updates, CPUs, Bug fixes and PRPs.

· Maintain positive relationship with all the clients and be able to work with various teams in synergy.
· Handle multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
· Provide Expert troubleshooting and research issues with application middleware, database, etc. and recommends/applies solutions such as configuration changes to O/S, WebLogic, PeopleSoft, Tuxedo or additional hardware, memory, CPUs etc.
· Add and update document standards for PeopleSoft architecture and configuration as well as day-to-day operational procedures and protocols
· Maintain and support PeopleSoft applications by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning
· Periodic testing of fail over of server, database, etc.
· Evaluate new technologies and perform special projects as assigned
· Identifies, downloads, track and apply People Tools and PeopleSoft application upgrades and patches
· Secures PeopleSoft system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.
· Proactively researches available and future releases of People Tools and recommends improvements/use of appropriate solutions/tools/security to application group
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
· Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Serve in a 24/7 on-call capacity, working evenings and/or weekends as needed.
· Perform other PS Admin related activities as assigned.

· Work on all phases of a project: development, testing, go-live, production support, etc.

· Configure LDAP, SSO, and Elastic search as needed.

Requirements

· 6+ Years system administration experience in production PeopleSoft environment
· Strong knowledge of the installation, security, administration, monitoring and tuning of PeopleTools, 8.4x, 8.5x and PeopleSoft 8.x and 9.x infrastructure.
· Strong knowledge of update/change assistant and hands on experience applying PeopleSoft maintenance and application/Tools upgrades and PUM.
· Must have at least one hands on Tools Upgrade experience.

· Experience with Setting up PeopleSoft Change Assistant and executing Change Assistant Jobs effectively.

· Have hands on experience in configuring at least one of SSO, LDAP, Elastic Search
· Skills and experience in debugging/troubleshooting techniques for technical issues related to infrastructure components including application and web server, process scheduler, integration broker and database servers.
· Orientation toward detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate documentation
· Ability to independently manage multiple tasks effectively, learn quickly and thrive in a constantly changing systems environment
· Ability to work well in a team environment
· Proficiency in oral and written communication

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
