To offer technical services to sales & account management team in India in order to support the growth of plastic additives business.
M ain Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
- Incumbent will be part of Regional Application Center (RAC) Asia Pacific, functionally report head of regional application center & administratively report to Sales Head for Plastic additives in India
- Position to be based out of Navi Mumbai , India & will be responsible for providing the technical services for Plastic additives business in India
- Working with technical / product application & development / process / production teams at BASF customer
- Close engagement with sales / account management team in India as well as global segment/ industry team
- Technical discussion/presentation to customers to position plastic additives/solutions in identified customer applications
- Conduct product trials at customer end & get necessary product approvals to generate new business
- Support for technical troubleshooting based on specific customer requests ( limited to scope of plastic additives)
- Technical presentations at conference, seminars & distributor meetings to enhance industry focus
- Consolidate and analyze the market intelligence to support efficient business decision making
- Take the commitment for Product Stewardship
Job Skills
Background Profile:
- Masters/PHD in Polymer or Engineering from reputed institution
- Minimum 12 to 15 years experience in polymer technical services/polymer business
- Hands on experience in polymer processing & application development
- Willing travel extensively all over India
- Preference to Diversity candidate
Personality Profile:
- Good technical skills as well as business acumen & leadership qualities
- Good interpersonal skills & team player
- Good communication & presentation skills
- Experience in team lead would be added advantage
