Job description
To lead the complete civil engineering scope for the new greenfield factory including:-
a) Prepare and validate civil BOQs, Costing, timeline plans, and preliminary designs for the new proposed buildings. Prepare tender document, Evaluate bids and qualify civil contractor firms.
B) Coordinate building design work and GFC drawings with civil consultants with inputs from crossfunctional project team. Ensure first time right building design and construction.
c) Supervise site civil works/ construction activities ensuring site upkeep and material/scrap arrangement.
d) Coordinate project activities with civil contractor and consultant ensuring quality control and adherence to site safety procedures at construction site.
e) Coordinate drawings preparation and liasioning with govt. authorities for securing legal permits (Town and country planning/ Factory inspectorate etc.)
f) Reconciliation of civil construction material and verification of civil billings. Documentation of key drawings, tracking of project costs, warranty certificates, QC and project handover Documents.
6) Lead a team of civil construction supervisors and engineers to deliver the project on time as per expected quality and design maintaining highest standards of safety at construction site.
>15 Years of relevant industrial experience in leading building design and civil construction projects.
B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engineering as minimum qualification. Good knowledge of different civil structures and building design requirements for food industry.
Knowledge of Legal permits requirements for building construction (Factory Inspectorate/Fire/ TCP etc.) & other related rules.
Good interpersonal skills and good oral and written skills along with good working knowledge of project management tools like MS Project, MS Excel, AutoCAD etc.
