Job description

This position will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and domain experts, to deliver innovative and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Explore, design, develop and implement data-driven strategies and machine learning models to improve engineering and technical function effectiveness and efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain deployed models, detecting and addressing issues to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless data pipeline integration for machine learning workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient machine learning solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of machine learning and adapt existing models to leverage new technologies.
• Document work clearly and concisely, contributing to maintainable codebases and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices.

The ideal candidate for the position should have the following skills and experience:

Technical Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, C/C++.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and IoT security principles.
• Proficient in machine learning frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Spark MLlib.
• Proficient in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
• Understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
• Familiarity with regression and classification.
