Job description
Responsibilities: Assume ownership of all architectural activities, executing tasks directly, delegating responsibilities, or supervising teams as needed. Collaborate with Line of Business (LOB) Architects, Project Managers (PMs), and Development Leads to drive and design cross-LOB initiatives. Proactively drive and encourage infrastructure development where applicable, providing advice and assisting in the prioritization of infrastructure content and processes. Work closely with Leadership to establish and drive coding and methodology standards and tools across the vertical markets group. Foster a culture of safe development practices, emphasizing the importance of security and compliance in all architectural decisions. Collaborate with executive leadership, Product Owners (POs), Tech Managers, Architects, and Developers to effectively split requirements between Platform, Infrastructure, and Line of Business. Develop a profound understanding of the business domain, bridging the gap between requirements, non-functional requirements, and the actual product. Instill an innovative mindset within the development teams, encouraging creative problem-solving and the exploration of new technologies. Actively promote and contribute to the development of patents and intellectual property, fostering a culture of innovation within the organization. Contribute to shaping the domain language and concepts, ensuring a common understanding across the organization. Master the system design and key data flows of all products, effectively communicating these details within the organization. Initiate and facilitate the evaluation, testing, and integration of new technologies into the R&D organization. Represent the company in customer-facing interactions, actively participating in technical discussions with customer technical teams when required. Foster collaboration with Professional Services (PS) Architects on sizing, addressing product-related queries, and assisting with technical challenges.
Role Requirements: Demonstrated experience in architecting enterprise software, both on-premises and in the cloud. Deep expertise in software development with a broad knowledge of technologies, including RDBMS, Hadoop, and web application development. Proficiency in cloud technologies, with a keen understanding of cloud architectures and cost considerations. Proven ability to connect requirements to nonfunctional requirements and translate them into tangible products. Strong leadership skills, demonstrated through successful collaboration with diverse teams, including architects, project managers, and developers. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex technical concepts and engage in customer-facing interactions. Continuous learning mindset, staying abreast of industry trends, and applying innovative solutions to enhance product development. Passion for fostering a culture of safe development practices, innovation, and the pursuit of intellectual property through patents, with a focus on product excellence.Job tags
