Job description

Job Posting: The primary purpose of this role is to enable the strategic and tactical management of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform and serve as the technology leader to deliver solutions that achieve the strategy and drive competitive advantage. This role will lead the process to identify, prioritize, and deliver the projects that support Tyson International Business Unit’s growth opportunities including but not limited to our APAC and EU businesses.

In addition, this position manages the solutioning process for business unit Analytics including Finance, Operations, and Enabling functions to drive continuous improvements in processes and technology. This is a true business partner role requiring a point of view and the ability to make proactive recommendations. This position will provide thought leadership, management, and oversight of ERP application solutions. The role holder will be accountable for the investments required as well as managing the portfolio of digital application solutions enabling IBU IT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as technology product owner and business partner to the business vertical Leadership Teams and deliver value by enabling the technology strategy, defining capabilities required to achieve the strategy, and bringing forth recommended technology enhancements to enable these capabilities. Leads a team of managers, analysts, and product owners that are accountable for technology solutioning for the ERP and Analytics functions. Ensure solutions are consistent with corporate strategic objectives and ensure that the function can support the needs of the growing business. Work collaboratively across the Business and IT organizations to ensure all technology services needs are identified, communicated, planned, and budgeted effectively. Ensures the strategic agenda is serviced by strong data and analytic services including data science, incorporating analytics into production reporting and ongoing support. Coordinate with cross functional business and technology to align on enterprise designs that meet the business demands while optimizing synergies that mitigate long term E2E technology costs. Responsible for the product teams who enable business requirements, coordinates with enterprise architects to ensure new services and solutions align with roadmaps. Drive an Agile mindset and delivery culture throughout the business function, advocating speed and agility and act as a change agent within the function for Agile adoption.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelors in IT or Supply Chain Experience:

10+ years of Technology experience; minimum 8 years of dedication, focus and experience with implementing, and leading ERP platforms in very large organizations focused on core SAP areas (FICO, MM, SD, etc) and Analytics (GCP, Microsoft, AWS, etc.) Required Skills:

Proven leadership skills and demonstrated experience with building and developing teams. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to influence and provide technology thought leadership to the IBU Leadership Team and act as a trusted advisor. Highly collaborative relationship building skills with various internal and external stakeholders. Must demonstrate a high sense of urgency to influence changes and drive outcomes from conception to delivery. Technical Skills:

Experience and demonstrated success leading and delivering large, global transformation programs enabled by technology; Global implementation experience in core technologies such as ERP platforms (SAP, JDE, etc.); Data Analytics, DRP, MRP, Demand Planning and Sensing. Proven experience in application design/architecture, integration architecture development, enterprise application integration, and integration technologies solutions and standards. Competent in new technology evaluation, ability to support technical change management and provide thought leadership skills in integration technologies, tools and services. Business Skills:

Solid understanding of supply chain processes End to End. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities. Experience in using data and data science to drive quantitative analysis and break-through outcomes; Intense focus on business outcomes, demonstrating the ability to have material impacts on core business measures: e.g.: Inventory; Order Fill Rate, Forecast Accuracy; Attainment; Fill Rate, Asset Utilization; Cost Optimization.
