Job Title Windows Linux: L2 The Ideal candidate will possess the ability to influence change within their department and others and identify, propose, and implement best practices. Working within a culturally and geographically diverse IT Operations Team the candidate will oversee the installation and ongoing maintenance of systems, software, and equipment in our datacenters and regional offices with stability and security being the highest priority. To improve efficiencies, scripting, automation, and real-world experience expertise to solve complex problems is equally important. This position requires senior/expert level System Administration skills to ensure infrastructure is deployed, maintained, and configured quickly and efficiently while still adhering to customer’s core infrastructure standards. Technical Skills _Required (5 + years) • Linux(RHEL,Ubunu,SUSE,CentOS) • Work experience in Windows • Work experience on AD, DHCP, DNS, group policy • Work experience in OS 2012 and above • Data center experience • Good troubleshooting skills

Certifications • MCSA/MCSE • VMware • ITIL Certification • RHCE Technical Skills _Good to Have • Scripting and automation • Monitoring tools knowledge Role Details - 6 to 8 years of related infrastructure experience • Process and Technical skills required • Extensive experience developing scripts to automate infrastructure tasks on Linux platforms • Basic knowledge in scripting • Expert level skills in managing Linux and VMware environments • System administration experience in Linux environments and proficient in tasks such as shell scripting, creating cron jobs, analyzing log files, managing user accounts and groups etc. • Creation of New Virtual Servers, Installation and configuration of monitoring agent in servers for monitoring, i.e. Linux Server build process on VM using VM template • Experience in Linux prod & pre-prod Environment Kernel Patching and Monthly updates in every third and fourth weekends of every month respectively. • File system Administration, Configuring backup solutions, Managing Disks & File systems by using LVM, User administration, NTP (time synch) issues, Job scheduling on Linux. • Partition management by LVM. This includes adding a disc space to existing Volume group and creating new LVM’s from the existing volume group. • Quest Authentication client software installation and some basic troubleshooting related to PAM. • Performing IP migration in Linux Prod and Pre-prod Servers. • Deployment of files/package from the mentioned Windows servers into path specified in the Linux box. Then changing the ownership of that file/package. • Mounting Windows share (cifs) on Linux. • NIC teaming on Linux Physical servers, Physical Server rebooting\managing using ILO. • Basic knowledge on VMWare administration, monitoring tools, Kernel patching using yum and troubleshooting issues after patching are desirable • Individual must have good written and verbal communication skills. • Good working knowledge on Windows operating systems like 2012,2016 & 2019 • Knowledge in Active Directory administration, design etc • File Systems administration, DFS knowledge • Good working knowledge on the operating system patching, administration, and vulnerabilities mitigations • Installation, configuration, and upgrade of Windows operating systems • Good knowledge in in place upgrades • Knowledge in user provisioning, modification Soft Skills • High Integrity • Problem solving skills and learning attitude • Good communication skills • Confident & Energetic • Good team management skills • Process oriented has context menu
