Role and Responsibilities:
As a Talend Developer with YO HR CONSULTANCY you will be responsible for soliciting business functional nonfunctional and technical requirements through indepth interviews and requirement gathering processes. It will be your prime duty to analyze and document these requirements and data definitions and to perform data analysis while supporting change management training and testing efforts. Moreover you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements on merging deduplicating and standardizing data and to develop support and refine new data pipelines data models business logic and data schemas as code aligning them with product specifications. Your responsibilities will also include prototyping and optimizing data type checks before data load developing and refining batch processing data pipeline frameworks and maintaining improving and developing expertise in existing production data models and algorithms. Additionally you will be expected to learn and utilize business data domain knowledge and its correlation to underlying data sources define document and maintain a data dictionary identify and validate opportunities to reuse existing data and algorithms and collaborate on the design and implementation of data standardization procedures. Sharing team responsibilities contributing to the development of data warehouses and productizing algorithms are also crucial aspects of your role along with participating in oncall and weekly shift rotation.
Candidate Qualifications:
To excel in this role you should possess a Bachelor of Engineering Bachelor of Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) and have 46 years of experience in building data pipelines and using ETL tools. A minimum of 2 years of experience in ETL tools like Talend/Jaspersoft ETL tools and SQL programming language along with strong skills in writing stored procedures and SQL queries is mandatory. Additionally you should have at least 2 years of experience in Python programming and sound knowledge of distributed systems and data processing with Spark. Prior experience in scheduling and orchestrating data pipelines or workflows using a tool like Airflow as well as developing modern industrystandard big data frameworks with AWS or other cloud services for at least 1 year will be essential. Familiarity with common GitHub developer practices and paradigms agile methodologies and crossfunctional teams is also required. Knowledge of building AWS data pipelines using Python S3 data lake Redshift or any other columnar database and experience with AWS services including S3 Redshift EMR distributed systems and specialty pharmaceutical and retail pharmacy will be advantageous. Good knowledge of data integration processes and effective communication with both business and technical teams are essential while flexibility with working hours will be appreciated.
