Position: Production Support Engineer Work Location: Chennai Experience: 4 Years Minimum This Job requires
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, hands on in Linux environments
- Actively maintain and monitor services, identify and resolve technical issues
Attend meetings with store colleagues, product owners and engineering teams to troubleshoot and diagnose
issues
- Act as the initial point of contact for all the issues reported in all colleague systems
- Complete detailed reports, analysis and post-mortem of issues and work with different teams to get the fixes in
production
- Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software, such as Zendesk
- Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
- Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
- Streamline process, run experiments, build/maintain internal tools, build proofs-of-concepts for users
- Familiarity with software products in general, basics of networking, fundamentals of REST APIs, and how the web
works
- Familiarity in using postman and ability to trigger and debug API responses using Postman
- Familiarity in log aggregation services like Splunk and fetching consolidated data from log files, creating
dashboards and setting up alerts etc.
- Familiarity with support platforms, Jira, GitHub, and Confluence are positives.
Able to work asynchronously with a globally distributed team
- Good exposure to Querying data in DB using SQL queries.
