2836 Job Purpose This role would be responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures involved in manufacturing processes. Their duties include researching automation techniques to maximize the efficiency of production lines and planning factory layouts that optimize how products are made across entire facilities or warehouses, with multiple departments making up one system simultaneously.
Job Context The position is responsible for:
PRODUCTION ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES: To fulfill below requirements as per LEMT Production requirements
- Jigs, fixtures, templates, Pallets (New requirements, Maintenance & Replacements),
- Maintaining spares for Fixtures/Jigs.
- To become welding (MIG/ Stud/ TIG, etc.) expert to resolve welding related problems.
- Special tools & Equipment's
- Factory Layout
NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION: - Provide support to production in GR3/GR4 stages of new product introduction.
- Provide support to Production/QA on process flow charts, facility requirements, tool requirement, jigs & fixtures requirement, equipment for new processes, layout during NPI.
- Capex calculation for requirements related to NPI & Projects.
- Updation of Build Instructions & Standard Operating procedures for all Product lines in concurrence with Production Team
CURRENT PRODUCT IMPROVEMENTS - Analysis & Problem solving,
- 8D & other Methodology
- Design improvements feedback to Engineering
- Trialing & implementing proposed improvements.
- Creating work environment to meet quality standards set by ISO 9000/14000/18000.
- Build Instructions
LEAN MANAGEMENT: - Eliminate Waste Activities
- Coordinate with related departments for optimized process flow, Lean manufacturing
- Total cycle time (throughput time) reduction
- Implementing 5S concepts
SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (D365) & MANAGEMENT REPORTING: - Ensure to submit/ Circulate all management reports on time.
- D365 activities related to the Department (Route etc)
TRAINING: - Impart Training to workers on Product and other technical aspects of product.
- To Training teammate on Welding/Robot technology.
HEALTH AND SAFETY: - Facilitate safe working environment for people and implement H&S guidelines and regulations.
General - To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed in order to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by the company.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of information relating to the company's business and staff.
Job Dimensions The role will be based out of Halol, Vadodara and report to the Production Manager
Key Accountabilities These will include:

- Support the site as Safety Coordinator
Qualifications, Experience & Skills Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: -
- Knowledge on ERP Systems
- CAD Proficiency
- Sound Knowledge on Jig-Fixture Concept
Minimum Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of Experience in Manufacturing Engineering
Job-Specific Skills:
Knowledge of ERP Systems
AUTOCAD Proficiency
Sound Knowledge on Jigs-Fixture Concept
