Director, HRBP will be overseeing HR strategy and successful execution of HR programs & initiatives. The director HRBP will be responsible for aligning HR initiatives with the business's goals and objectives, providing strategic HR guidance, and collaborating with senior management to drive organizational success. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices, leadership skills, and the ability to make informed decisions to support the business unit's needs. The role will cover Employee Engagement, Culture, Talent Management, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations. It reports to the VP of People Operations.
Essential Responsibilities
You will partner directly with senior leaders to execute and influence programs, policies and operations.
You will focus on talent across business lines to ensure deep and valuable understanding and knowledge of key talent and critical roles within the business and identify succession plans in order to ensure each function has quality and robust bench strength for key positions with a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
Partner with managers to provide coaching with a focus on organization design, engagement strategies, building development plans for high potential talent, and helping with Corrective actions when needed.
You will drive efforts around employee engagement, ensuring follow up and action planning from annual employee surveys & Pulse survey.
You will play a key role in supporting HR/ business transformation projects and initiatives from planning and development through implementation from a people/ organizational strategy perspective
You will analyze data across a variety of sources to support business strategies, identify talent trends, make astute recommendations and drive change.
You will help drive performance management and compensation across the organization.
You will support investigations for employee relations issues and consult with the legal and compliance team on matters as required.
You possess a strategic mindset while also being ready to dive into the work in an environment that emphasizes hands-on execution.
You consolidate information from diverse sources, have the ability to analyze data, and excel at crafting compelling narratives.
Experience
You bring 10+ years’ of HR Business Partner experience in a high growth tech environment.
You have experience partnering with senior level leaders to guide people strategy
You have experience building & deploying people programs that are laser-focused to drive measurable, positive change
You bring experience of various HR functional areas: coaching, employee relations, compensation, performance management, and program management
Knowledge & Skills
You are not afraid of numbers i.e you have strong analytical skills.
You maintain a people centric and "roll up your sleeves" and solutions oriented mindset and work style
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentations skills and a commitment to collaborate with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds
