MART Global Reporting & Controls: Will be responsible to work with Operations management to identify risks, implement controls and ensure continued efficacy of process controls. Key performance indicator for this role would be minimal operational errors (& near misses), excellent audit ratings and no regulatory/compliance issues. He/she should also work closely with the Global Risk & Control teams to ensure standardization of frameworks across sites.
The role involves a wide range of disciplines, including gathering and analysis of data, preparation of executive reporting, design of control framework for operational processes and project management. The individual will interact with multiple control officers across Markets organization and will help to ensure effective communication channel exist between global, regional and LOB teams. Understanding of Markets business, operational processes and control mind-set are essential for this position. Organization and time management are also beneficial competencies for successful fulfilment of the role

- Daily/ Weekly/ Quarterly reports monitoring and publishing to senior management and operations groups
- Get involved in process improvements for better client experience & automation of reports generation.
- Regulatory and control metrics to measure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Reporting of KRIs & KRIs to Senior management and Operations Leads
- Investigation and resolution on internal queries on the reports and work with stakeholders on enhancements
- Work closely with stakeholders on new reporting requirements, and with technology teams on changes to incorporate in reports
- Providing analytics on the report with trends, root cause and business context
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years’ experience in operations and MIS reporting
- Inclination towards data analytics and automation
- Should have prior MIS reporting experience to Senior Management
- Ability to understand and interpret impact of policy and procedural changes, as well as ability to identify and convey potential problem areas
- Ability to drive results through a "hands-on" approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization
- Ability to think and act strategically:
- Excellent with Data analysis, data mining and system analysis
- Exposure to Derivative, IB Operations, Controls & Regulatory reporting will be an advantage
- Deal with day-to-day issues as well as planning and executing projects / initiatives
- Ensuring the team's activities support Operations in attaining its strategic goals
- Excellent attention to detail, and an ability to know when a deep-dive approach is appropriate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization
- Skilled in MS office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel & Word
- Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and can prioritize one's own work to achieve them
- SQL would be preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
