Job description

As a Senior Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving the operations planning process in the India region. You will be promoting cross-functional collaboration to meet customer demand and achieve business targets.

Primary Responsibilities: · Develop, implement, and refine the sales and operations planning strategy in alignment with the organizational objectives and market demands. · Establish Operations frameworks and processes to ensure accurate demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning. · Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the Operations strategy and recommend improvements. · Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather market insights, analyze historical data, and develop demand forecasts. · Utilize statistical models, predictive analytics, and market intelligence to improve the accuracy of demand forecasts and support resource planning. · Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, production schedules, and distribution plans. · Identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain, develop contingency plans, and implement inventory optimization strategies. · Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sales, operations, and supply chain performance. · Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate key findings, trends, and recommendations to senior management. · Identify areas for process improvement within the Operations function and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement best practices.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain management or related field. 8 years of experience in Operations, forecasting, production/inventory planning with at least 3 years in managing a team. Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing requirements Ability to communicate complex and nuanced problems. Energy Industry (Renewable Energy) a plus
