Job description
Job Title: Quality Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understanding User Requirements:
Analyze and comprehend user requirements to formulate effective testing strategies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project objectives.
2. Top-Level Test Scenario Preparation:
Develop comprehensive functional, non-functional, and UAT test scenarios.
Create end-to-end system testing scenarios for thorough validation.
3. Solid Knowledge on SDLC:
Demonstrate proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
4. Test Data Identification:
Identify and create appropriate test data for various testing scenarios.
5. Test Scenario, Test Strategy, and Reporting Metrics:
Develop and contribute to test scenarios and test strategy.
Generate and analyze reporting metrics to ensure effective testing processes.
6. Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM):
Utilize knowledge of RTM to maintain traceability between requirements and test cases.
7. Automation Framework Development and Execution:
Engage in the development and execution of 1-2 automation frameworks.
Leverage automation tools such as Selenium and Appium.
8. Test Cases Peer Review:
Participate in the peer review process of test cases to enhance quality and accuracy.
9. Agile and Scrum Activities:
Demonstrate understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Fulfill responsibilities associated with Agile and Scrum as per the role.
10. Defect Tool Knowledge:
- Possess knowledge of defect tracking tools and contribute to effective defect management.
11. Tools Proficiency:
- Exhibit proficiency in tools such as HP ALM, Selenium, and Appium.
12. Time Zone Flexibility:
- Be ready to work in different time zones as required, especially during release days.
13. Communication and Team Collaboration:
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
