We at United Breweries are looking for State Draught Champion based at Ludhiana.
Role: State Draught Champion
Location: Ludhiana
Broad objective of the role
To bring laser focus on our Draught Business, by overseeing and driving all enablers of the Draught Beer Sales Ecosystem. This will require good understanding of the Draught Beer Sales Operations and requires close coordination with Sales, Supply Chain and external service partners. In summary, the DB Champ will manage (a) Below the Bar Counter; (b) Behind the Bar Counter; and, (c) Front of Bar Counter
Key Accountabilities
Below the Bar Counter
· Managing UBL Draught Beer Equipment (DBE) & Assets in outlets.
· Planning & coordinating Deployment of Draught Assets in outlets along with sales teams basis agreed criteria, and overall Draught ambition.
· Monitoring Asset Utilization basis sales throughput and planning re-deployments where required.
· Coordination & managing third party vendor(s) responsible for DBE servicing to ensure servicing and complaint resolution as per SLAs.
· Leverage technology to digitize all processes and asset monitoring for effective and efficient utilization.
· This requires a good understanding of the working of DBE system, which will be gained through OTJ training.
Behind the Bar Counter
· Conduct periodical trainings with Bar staff to ensure DBE is handled well and draught beer service is as per standards set by UBL.
· This requires regular visits to outlets on a pre-agreed frequency to interact with bartenders and bar staff.
· Coordinate with Store management to resolve and issues with regard to DBE and also Sales matters in conjunction with Sales Team.
Front of Bar Counter
· Ensure all consumer facing Draught assets are of top quality and well maintained – Towers, medallions, Signages, tent cards, etc.
· Manage execution of Sales & Marketing programs related to Draught Beer within agreed plans and budgets.
· Closely coordinate with Sales Teams and jointly work towards Sales Targets achievement.
Stakeholder Management
· Coordinate closely with Sales Teams to effectively plan, deploy, monitor and get the best returns from our Sales assets towards achievement of Sales targets.
· Manage Relationship with DBE Service Provider.
· Coordinate with Regional Marketing Team for support on consumer facing Assets & materials.
Education:
Minimum Degree: Graduate - MBA/PGDM or Hotel Management degree/diploma.
Desired experience
· 3 – 6 years.
· Understanding of F&B retail space in general and Alco-Bev industry in general.
· Prior Experience in F&B Service is an added advantage.
· Good communication skills, and personality to engage with outlet staff.
