Job Title: Hardware Lead Engineer
Location: Onsite in Pune
Experience: 10+ years
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days
Responsibilities:
♦ Lead the hardware design and development process, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
♦ Manage and mentor a team of hardware engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the product development lifecycle.
♦ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
♦ Define hardware architecture, specifications, and requirements based on project objectives and customer needs.
♦ Oversee the design, testing, and validation of electronic circuits, PCB layouts, and prototypes.
♦ Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential technical challenges and propose mitigation strategies.
♦ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and performance of hardware systems.
♦ Stay updated with the latest advancements in hardware technology and industry trends, incorporating them into the design process when appropriate.
Requirements:
♦ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
♦ Minimum of 10 years of experience in hardware design and development, preferably in a leadership role.
♦ Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.
♦ Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, signal integrity, and power management.
♦ Experience with FPGA and microcontroller-based systems.
♦ Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as FCC, CE, and UL.
♦ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
♦ Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
♦ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
