Job description

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Branch Manager at the largest NBFC in India.Â

• Job description-
• Lead and motivate a team of Relationship Officers, Relationship Managers, and Branch Sales Managers to exceed monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual business targets.
• Take ownership of resolving early mortality, delinquencies, and NPAs in new and existing portfolios.
• Identify new micro markets and establish quality referral partnerships to expand Micro LAP and Gold-backed secured business loan (Suvarna) portfolios.
• Collaborate with credit and subject matter experts to expedite loan approvals.
• Effectively cross-sell insurance products to protect customers' property, health, and life.
• Act as the primary representative of NBFC in the location.
• Provide inputs to senior management to address customer needs and improve customer experience.
• Monitor competitors' activities and report findings to Zonal and National teams.
• Coordinate with NBFC branches for smooth disbursement and safekeeping of loans.
• Recruit and retain high-performing team members.
• Retain existing live loan customers.
• Liaise with law enforcement authorities to resolve conflicts effectively.

Skills Required-
• Result-oriented individual with a positive mental attitude and integrity, dedicated to hard work.
• Demonstrated capability in recruiting and retaining high-performing Relationship Officers, Relationship Managers, and Branch Sales Managers.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience leading sales teams, including at least 2 years managing on-roll team members.
• Proficient in understanding lower and middle-income customer segments, preferably with experience in Affordable Housing or NBFC sectors for a minimum of 2 years.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and achieve business targets.
• Familiarity with collections and recoveries processes.
• Accountable for maintaining portfolio quality at the location.
