We are seeking a Lead for our QA Team to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing our web platforms and mobile applications to ensure they meet our high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will know about manual testing and be able to identify and report improvements to the development team in a timely and efficient manner. An experience on this will be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the QA Team.
• Test our website and application to meet quality standards and user requirements.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on user stories and requirements.
• Execute manual tests and report improvements using a tracking system.
• Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure defects are resolved and retested promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Perform different types of testing including UI/UX testing, functional testing, adhoc testing & and regression testing, and participate in collaborations when necessary.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in testing and share knowledge with the team.
Qualifications:
• Master's/Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in software testing along with Team Lead experience
• Hands-on with tracking systems such as JIRA or Trello.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow test plans and scripts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work on tools and plugins aimed at supporting testing will be a plus.
• Experience in manual testing of web platforms and/or mobile applications will be a plus.
