Job Summary As a Junior Plant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production activities at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in pharmacy (M.Pharma or higher) and a minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The Junior Plant Manager will work closely with senior management to ensure the efficient and compliant operation of the plant while maintaining high-quality standards in line with Ayurvedic principles.
Key Responsibilities - Production Oversight:
- Assist in planning and coordinating production schedules to meet product demand.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Quality Control:
- Collaborate with the quality control team to implement and maintain quality assurance programs.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of relevant regulations and standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation for regulatory inspections and audits.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise plant performance.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Implement and track key performance indicators to enhance overall plant performance.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of raw materials and finished products.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
- Personnel Management:
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for plant personnel.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and performance issues proactively.
Qualifications And Skills - Master's degree (M.Pharma or higher) in Pharmacy or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a focus on Ayurvedic products.
- In-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic pharmaceutical principles and manufacturing processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
