Duties and Responsibilities
- Experience in Core HCM, Payroll, Talent/Performance, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking and Absence
- Experience in one or more of the following modules: Learning, Recruiting, Peakon, Financial Planning, Financials
- Advanced knowledge and experience building and maintaining customized Workday Business Processes
- Strong working knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting integrations.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel to assess, manipulate, and analyze data.
- Demonstrated competency with Workday standard reporting and analytics.
- Complete understanding of the EIB import process, including setup, template generation and imports
- Direct experience creating and maintaining data governance frameworks, systems documentation, and technical maps.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis on application issues.
- Proven ability to think critically, analyze data, make tough decisions, and solve complex problems.
- Can effectively cope with change and ambiguity to find ways to advance work and projects.
- Clearly conveys thoughts, both written and verbally, listening attentively and asking questions for clarification and understanding; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Exceptionally organized, adept at time management and prioritization.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
- Ability to travel up to 5%
- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, security configurations and assignments
- Workday configuration changes including module configurations, Business Process modifications, template changes, EIB configurations, integration updates, custom settings, layouts, dashboards and reports.
- Create and maintain systems documentation and technical maps as needed.
- Assist with EIB imports including design, setup, testing and processing.
- Participate in the internal customer/user request intake process, document stakeholder requirements, and design and deliver solutions in partnership with Enterprise Technology leadership.
- Identify un-used or under-utilized features and add-ons to maximize platform value.
- Contribute to the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders.
- Assist with proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, and Health Checks
- Ensure all system changes meet business requirements and proper documentation is provided for education and compliance.
- Participate in following change management/governance methodology (i.e., release cadence, sprints, or other) to ensure deadline delivery.
- Continually research, test and stay up to date on all Workday releases and fixes
- Contribute to the systems documentation and technical maps.
- Review, maintain and improve all current security settings to ensure the highest level of data protection.
- Assist with QA (Quality Assurance) activities, and where appropriate, UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities, for the deployment of new functionality.
- Provide end-user support; troubleshoot bugs and issues via research, testing, scenario re-creation, and document findings.
- Assist with new user and ongoing user training.
- Participates in Scrum ceremonies.
Requirements
- Experienced Workday administrator
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive human resources, information systems or related experience
- 3+ years Workday Administration experience
- Workday Certifications a plus
- Shift - Night Shift (US Day Shift)
