Job description
- We design, develop, and host data-rich, full-featured, high-traffic web and mobile applications for financial institutions, brokerages, and media clients
- We leverage a combination of our mature .NET stack along with the latest and greatest the industry has to offer to deliver some of the fastest and most utilized applications in the financial industry
- We work closely in teams to promote an inclusive environment where all ideas are welcome
- The Mercury team assists as Fincentric feature/component teams with operational management of critical 3rd party applications
- Our goal is to automate and streamline 3rd party application releases, integrate synthetic monitoring capabilities, and provide operational expertise for these applications
- You will be part of a highly skilled and versatile DevOps team working in a fast-paced environment
- You will be involved in building new processes to integrate with existing tools to enable automation for the installation and maintenance of 3rd party applications

Duties accountabilities: -
- Automate and perform 3rd party application upgrades using industry standard automation toolsets
- Integrate monitoring tools for existing 3rd party applications
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues
- Partner with component teams to develop application roadmaps to enable new feature offerings for developers
Education and Experience : -
- B Tech./ M Tech / MCA degree in an IT/ Computer Science or related course is a prerequisite
- DevOps Engineer with 7 to 12 years of experience is required.
Technical Skills: -
- Experience in Windows and Linux/Unix system administration (Mandatory )
- Rich Experience with configuration management systems, such as Chef
- Experience with the following technologies: Jenkins/Bitbucket/Github Enterprise, Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana(ELK Stack), Prometheus/Grafana, Apigee, Akamai , Any Three
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of container management and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Nomad
- Well versed with scripting experience in one or more languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, or Python (Any one)
