Job Description Summary
Supports Pune finance team with day-to-day financial operations, planning activities, fit for purpose information, and financial closing activities. Enables stakeholders to focus on their key activities while identifying opportunities to provide the best experience to them. Ensures that technological advances are integrated in insights generation processes. Constantly streamlining and/or upgrading processes. Support with financial reporting systems, processes, and financial controls to ensure integrity and reliability of financial statements and information. Establish and maintain strong partnership with internal Finance colleagues as well as Business Partners as required. Understands and lives the Finance Framework, mindset and behaviours.
The Opportunity
The Specialized Finance chapter is responsible for managing and driving several BA site finance planning activities, processes, and projects such as cost center planning, allocations, and CAPEX and other investments planning, as well as global finance projects such as RAMP or ASPIRE. Create efficiency and consistency across BA Finance by continuously driving opportunities to harmonize, pool, & simplify finance processes.
Utilizes specialized knowledge of specific work processes or areas and contributes to special accounting and financial projects as required.

To provide accounting and vendor-related inputs from the affiliate to the Shared Services (RSS) team in Malaysia on a day-to-day basis (in relation to vendor invoices, monthly accruals, etc.)
To liaise with the tax team for both direct and indirect tax-related topics (filings, payments, collection of prior years’ data, responses to SCNs, etc.)
To be responsible for (non-statutory) financial compliances in accordance with local regulations such as STPI, LEI, MSME, FLA, ITES, etc.
To be successful in this role, you bring
Graduate Degree – Bachelor of Commerce or related-field
Minimum 4 years of relevant finance experience
Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced working environment
Displays strong attention to detail
Self-starter; ability to own operational activities without constant supervision
Prior experience working with SAP
Good command over basic MS Office tools, especially MS Excel
