As the Legal Assistant, You will be responsible for various legal tasks, including drafting, reviewing, and analysing commercial contracts.
You will report to our General Counsel. Together you will collaborate with team members, communicate with stakeholders, and provide general administrative support as needed.
Responsibilities
Initial-stage drafting, review, and analysis of a wide range of commercial contracts
Assisting in contract lifecycle management such as document production, arranging e-signatures, and organising and filing of the documents.
Recording information in the legal management information system (MIS) and keeping MIS up-to-date.
Legal document and database administration
Assisting the legal team with the administration of Kwalee s portfolio of intellectual property rights
Legal research, including researching legislation and case law and preparing summaries, analysis, and presenting to senior company executives where appropriate.
Other legal and non-legal research tasks including carrying out due diligence searches and industry research
Supporting the legal team with project work.
Assisting with the preparation and updating Kwalee s internal policies
Potential to assist with early-stage dispute resolution management and associated administrative tasks
Assisting with data subject access requests (data protection)
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to take instructions and progress legal matters
General administrative support to the wider legal team and other ad hoc tasks as may be required.
Requirements
Bachelors law degree
Prior legal experience of 0 to 3 years
Excellent organisation skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Based in our office hub in Bangalore, following our hybrid model with 3 days per week on-site.
