Job description

Job Overview: CloudMotiv is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead our sales operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with extensive experience and connections in various industries selling condition monitoring systems / sensors / automation devices , particularly with a focus on manufacturing domain. This role requires strategic vision, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive growth and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Sales Leadership and Strategy:

o Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives in the Indian market.

o Continuously analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adjust and optimize sales strategies.

2. Business Development and Growth:

o Leverage existing relationships and network in various industries to generate new business opportunities.

o Identify and penetrate new market segments within the manufacturing sector.

o Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and initiatives that drive sales.

o Proven ability to meet sales targets and KPIs.

3. Client Relationship Management:

o Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry leaders.

o Understand and meet client needs, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

o Negotiate and close major deals with top-tier clients.

4. Team Management and Development:

o Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

o Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

o Recruit and train new sales personnel as required.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

o Regularly report on sales performance against targets, providing insights and action plans.

o Monitor and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

o Utilize CRM and other sales tools to track and analyze sales metrics.

 

Qualifications:

 

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

· An MBA in Sales / Marketing is preferred.

· Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.

· Strong network and connections in various industries across India, especially in manufacturing sector.

· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
