POSITION SUMMARY JOB SUMMARY The role of a Multi-Property Content Creator is critical for managing and producing a wide array of social media content. This individual is tasked with developing, executing, and overseeing content across various platforms, including photography, videography, reels, and stories. Their work is specifically tailored to enhance the digital presence of four distinct properties: Amman Marriott Hotel, Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa, Petra Marriott Hotel, and Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel. In addition to content creation, this position extends to assisting with graphic design projects. The scope of these projects is broad and diverse, encompassing the creation of engaging content for all social media channels, editing and retouching images, resizing artwork, and devising new artwork solutions. The responsibilities also include crafting campaign creatives, social media artwork, and performing photo editing tasks. The role demands a vigilant stewardship of the brands involved, particularly Marriott Hotels & Resorts and Sheraton. This includes ensuring that all visual creatives align with and reinforce the brands' integrity and standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate a profound understanding of branding, identity, typography, photography, videography, and layout. They must exhibit exceptional attention to detail, robust project management capabilities, and a flair for innovation and creativity. This position is not just about technical skills; it requires a strategic thinker who can translate marketing objectives into compelling visual stories that resonate with audiences. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating the fast-paced world of social media, understanding its trends, and leveraging this knowledge to foster engagement and strengthen brand loyalty across all platforms. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience 4+ years of experience in social media, marketing, and visual communications 2+ years of experience of video production, photography, video editing and graphic design experience Experience in a fast paced environment and ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet critical deadlines. Understanding of Marriott International brand principles & marketing standards Fluent in written and verbal English is a must Written Arabic is an advantage A bachelor's degree is required Professional Attributes, Skills & Experience Experience in operating photography and videography equipment. Graphic design and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Acrobat, Premiere Pro) knowledge Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with both members of the marketing team and operational teams effectively communicate ideas (i.e. - content brainstorming, content shoots, model direction, etc.) Ability to conceptualize and execute creative vision in relation to content and new ideas. Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends Must be able to work on-site at the hotels as a full-time team member Familiarity with social-first video creation tools like CapCut, InShot, and native editing in Instagram and Facebook. Detail oriented with a track record of follow through and delivery Good project management skills Strong communication & an eye for detail. Apple Mac / PC literate with competency in all major design packages Must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of technology and it s up to date applications Experience and knowledge regarding the specifications for printing-related matters Knowledgeable about file conversions (PDF, mpg, JPEG, TIFF, EPS, ae, mp3, mp4, avi) Determined, tenacious, like to experiment, thinking out of the box is a must Ability to create great working relationships with all levels of the hotel and across multiple disciplines CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Create content for 4 hotels including photography, reels, stories, animation and video to be used on our channels following social media guidelines & brand tone of voice as set by the Hotels and Multi Property Director of Marketing Communications. Schedule and create engaging content as required for all channels and in a timely manner. (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) Edit and resize content to different specifications as required. Develop monthly visual asset banks to support activations, promotions and events. Proactively adjust content creation to new trends and happenings. Assist in the planning, scheduling and creative direction of photo and video shootings at our hotels. Oversee social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and maintain a social media calendar and, for disappearing or live content, a record (when possible) of what has been posted. Ensure all stakeholders are engaged and aware of content creation activities in advance. Attend and cover special events and promotions in our hotels. Assist with Graphic Design as and when required for hotel collaterals and design artworks. Coordinate communication with Department Manager s and teams to ensure ongoing renewal & engagement with new content. Support Marketing Communication Department in bringing to life social media channel content that reflects the brand and positions the venues accurately. Good understanding of new developments, best practices & trends in the social media landscape. Be creative and develop engaging social media content in line with the hotel brands. Ability to easily connect with people and to continually find new ways to engage & source new conversation starters. Ability to multi-task & work with several teams Bring the hotel brands, programming and events to life through engaging content creation Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communication, newsletters, and marketing materials Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity Develop concepts with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using a content management system Study design briefs and determine requirements Conceptualize visuals based on requirements Prepare rough drafts and present ideas Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
