Exposure on Commodity ranges required for Commercial Vehicle, Bus, Construction Equipment
Knowledge about the Commodity, part development process, part quality inspection methodology and hands on experience for the same.
Techno Commercial awareness and quality parameters
Learn DFM - Design for Manufacturing ( Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing SC / CC Characteristics ), Development as per APQP guidelines, Focus on First Time & Every Time Right, Prepare the Development Lead Time in line with Program Need Date & Progress Monitoring. Build & Field Quality issue Resolution by engaging with CFT & Supplier, Conducting FTR & Monitor Actionable Points, Advance Planning & Execution of PPAP. Monitor ECN Progress
Know how about above processes, selection of raw material & machine, parameters to be considered during ( DFM ) Design for Manufacturing. Know how about Cost Drivers for Part as well as Tooling & Fixtures.
Awareness of Development Process as Indent, RFQ, Quote Analysis, , Timely Execution, Self Initiatives for cost saving, CFT approach, Dealing with Suppliers for Scheduling & Monitoring the Performance of Supplier, monitoring the MIS. Techno Commercial Sign off with Internal & External Stake Holders
