BUSINESS ANALYST

Experience required: 3+ Years
We are looking for Business Analyst who will work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders - both external and internal to the company - to research and elicit, analyze, validate and document business requirements, and to ensure that those requirements clearly reflect true business needs, correctly representing all stakeholders and will be responsible to translate business needs into system/ application requirements and project components to help determine solutions to business problems and effectively manages the client's expectations. Applies industry and information technology expertise to support proposals, feasibility studies, implementations, and new business development.
Responsibilities:
· Primary responsibility will be creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications
· Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution
· Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables
· Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business
· Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders
Requirements:
· Ability to answer unstructured business questions with data and work independently to drive projects and analytical tasks to the conclusion.
· Ability to work with internal team to lead discovery and to deliver findings and recommendations at an Executive level.
· Advanced experience with SQL and pulling data from relational databases.
· Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Metabase, Redash, etc.).
· High attention to detail, and thoroughness.
· Superior Excel and proficient PowerPoint skills.
· Working knowledge and experience with JIRA, Confluence.
· Ability to operate as the point of contact for key business partners.
· Ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams.
· Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
· Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage small technology projects.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
