About Us:
About the role: This role is responsible for the development and maintenance of custom WordPress themes and plugins for high-traffic websites and reports into our Director of Engineering.
About you: You are someone who wants to build and scale high performance websites for our clients. You have working knowledge of COdeCeption and WordPress testing and experience with front end performance optimization as well as an understanding with back end performance optimization. You have Experience with automated testing and test-driven development.
Your day-day: (aka Responsibilities) - Building, customizing and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins
- Growing our automated tests suites
- Optimizing front-end and back-end code for high performance, stability, and scalability
You have: (aka Qualifications) - 7+ years of professional development experience
- Proficiency with WordPress development model, both in PHP and JavaScript
- Good knowledge of version controlling unit with git
- Proficiency with the Linux command line
- Usage of Chrome Development Tools
- Reading and understanding of Lighthouse Reports
- Set up and usage of xdebug
- Reading and understanding of Cachegrind files
- Familiar with Docker/Docker Compose and Google Cloud infrastructure
