Role: Microsoft SME (Infrastructure) Essential Skills/Abilities: Have deep understanding of Microsoft Windows Server technologies and tooling. For example SCCM / Endpoint Configuration Manager, Active Directory, DNS, RDS and Group Policy. Have experience of dealing with large scale infrastructure, consisting of thousands of individual servers. Work UK hours (MUST) Demonstrates exceptional communication skills Experience of antivirus and endpoint security protection techniques and tools, eg CrowdStrike. Have experience of delivering applications via Remote Desktop Services and/or Azure VDI. Has extensive experience of using PowerShell or Ansible/Terraform to deliver infrastructure as code Have experience of implementing and supporting hosted MS Exchange environments Has experience of defining, designing, implementing and operationalising the Compute/Platform Infrastructure used within public and/or private cloud environments. Has acted as the expert within Microsoft Windows environments. Have delivered programs of work to automate manual activities, applying configuration settings across the enterprise, and centrally deploy systems and tooling. Exhibit strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills. Be able to manage and deliver multiple parallel projects. Certificate deployment/management within a Windows environment. Having a basic understanding of SQL Server and VMware products/tools would be expected. Desirable Skills/Abilities (but not essential): As we progress our strategy of moving more workloads to public cloud, an understanding of AWS technologies, tools and services would be a distinct advantage. Having experience of utilising Jira for work management and time tracking. Exposure to ISO27001 audits. Have experience of SaaS, Iaas & PaaS solutions and offerings. An understanding of Privileged Access Management and PKI solutions would be useful. Any experience of integrating systems or standardising technologies due to M&A integration activities would be beneficial. Why join us?
