Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in the smartphone industry, consulting, early stage startup, or consumer electronics.
- Experience in relationship management. Experience working towards business goals.
Preferred qualifications:
- 9 years of experience in sales management, business development, or partner management in smartphone business.
- Proven track record of success in building a new business/brand and closing large deals in an established environment.
- Ability to manage an ambiguous environment with confidence.
- Ability to interpret legal documents and work with lawyers to complete agreements.
- Excellent problem-solving and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues.

The Carrier team focuses on Google-branded hardware across product categories. Our team is responsible for managing partnerships with our top carriers, including developing channel strategy, negotiating commercial terms, marketing and merchandising, and overall market share goals. We partner cross-functionally with marketing, product & engineering, finance and retail marketing teams internally, and with our carrier counterparts across these disciplines.
The Devices and Services Partnership team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google's software and hardware to our users by marketing and distributing a Google-branded devices and services portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing partnerships with our retailers and carrier partners, including developing channel strategy, negotiating commercial terms, marketing and merchandising, and overall market share goals.
The Hardware Partnerships team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google's software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio. The team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers and resellers worldwide. This includes the partnerships for products such as , , , and .
Responsibilities
- Pixel and Pixel ecosystem channel management. Develop point of view for the right channel selection strategy. Shortlistpartners, and lead initial discussions.
- Develop and execute country plans for Pixel enterprise while working with the broader team. Manage the sales pipeline and forecast, pitch and vet leads to coherent view of businesses, data, spends. Plan, drive key partnerships with key customers, and re-sellers to drive end customer sales (and channel sales).
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. Represent the company to customers and partners. Develop clear industry narratives and present to key stakeholders.
- Partner with India based tech partners to build out business requirements document, project commercials, timelines, and launch plans.
- Partner with the distributor to develop inventory, forecasting, and financial processes to support the store.
