Role : QA Engineer - Mobile ApplicationsLocation : MumbaiJob Type : Full-TimeExperience : 6-8 yearsRole Overview :We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on testing React Native cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, and performance of our applications.Key Responsibilities :1. Testing and Quality Assurance: - Conduct thorough testing of individual components and overall functionality of the mobile application. - Develop and execute automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency. - Perform load testing to ensure application stability and performance under various conditions. - Assess and ensure the security of the application, identifying vulnerabilities and suggesting improvements.2. Device and Platform Testing: - Test the application across a variety of devices and platforms to ensure compatibility and user experience consistency. - Identify device-specific issues and collaborate with development teams for resolutions.3. Documentation and Reporting: - Document all test cases and results meticulously. - Report bugs and issues effectively, providing detailed descriptions and potential impact assessments.4. Team Collaboration: - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality results.Technical Skills :- Test case development and execution.- Proficiency in 1-2 automated testing tools used for mobile application testing such as Jest, Detox, Appium, Espresso (Android), XCTest (iOS), Cypress, Selenium, and/or Mocha.- Proficiency with load testing tools such as JMeter to simulate the performance for 1Mn+ users- Experience with React Native Testing Library and Enzyme for component-based testing.- Experience with bug tracking and reporting systems.Soft Skills :- Exceptional attention to detail.- Effective communication of testing results to the team.- Strong collaboration skills, particularly with developers for issue resolution.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in QA testing, specifically with React Native mobile applications.- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and scripting for mobile apps.- Experience in load testing and security testing of mobile applications.- Familiarity with testing on various devices and platforms.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
