Job Description: Retail Sales Executive Footwear

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Executive with a minimum of 1 year of experience in footwear sales. The Retail Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling our footwear products, providing exceptional customer service, and maximizing sales opportunities. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for footwear, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a positive shopping experience.
  • Assist customers in selecting and trying on footwear products, ensuring proper fit and comfort.
  • Have indepth knowledge of the features, benefits, and materials of the footwear products, and effectively communicate this information to customers.
  • Proactively identify customers needs and preferences, offering suitable product recommendations.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively utilizing sales techniques, upselling, and crossselling.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment, ensuring proper product display and merchandising.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the pointofsale POS system.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, resolving issues to customer satisfaction.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends, new product releases, and competitor offerings.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve sales goals, implement promotional activities, and contribute to the overall success of the store.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of store policies, procedures, and security measures.
  • Participate in regular product knowledge and sales training sessions to enhance selling skills and product expertise.
  • Perform inventory management tasks, such as receiving, unpacking, and replenishing stock, as needed.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including fitting rooms and storage areas.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines regarding customer privacy and data protection.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in footwear sales within a retail environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Passion for footwear products, including knowledge of different styles, brands, and trends.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey product information and engage customers.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced retail environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using POS systems and other retail software applications.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
