Job description
The person will take on the responsibility for managing Finance Accounting and Treasury functions of Bhumi. He/she will be a key member of the leadership team and collaborate with program and support teams to ensure financial prudence compliance robust fund management and facilitate seamless operations.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implement and manage sound financial planning budgeting tax planning and asset management practices with adequate controls effective monitoring and reporting
- Manage end to end Books of Accounts including preparation of monthly financial statements and MIS reports in a time bound manner
- Effectively manage donor fund utilization including providing realtime visibility for program teams and donors preparing fund utilization reports and handling donor audits
- Plan and manage internal audits annual Statutory audit and periodic statutory & legal compliances including FCRA returns
- Manage treasury operations including robust cash flow management and liaising with Banks & Financial Institutions
- Establish / improve SOPs Finance policies and systems to facilitate compliance and effective management of finance function
Education Qualification / Experience:
- 1012 years of relevant work experience; Candidates with lesser experience and high track record are also welcome to apply
- Prior experience with trust / society accounting is essential
- Professional qualification (CA / CMA or equivalent) is essential
- Experience in handling team and their performance management is essential
- Handson experience in QuickBooks / Zoho Books or equivalent desired
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- Good working knowledge in MS office packages including Excel
- Highly agile resourceful responsible and selfstarting
- Ability to manage data efficiently

Skills Required: Networking find out & establish contact with local Communities, Colleges, NGOs & other Partnerships. Able to do house visits and good reachability in the community. Written and oral communication in Tamil and English. Hindi will be an added advantage.. Ability to engage with daily wagers and college dropouts & slum youths. Basic Idea of Qualitative and Quantitative research methodologies. Flexibility & Positive thoughts keen to learn new things. Education Qualification / Experience: MSW / MBA from a recognized university with 1-3 years of relevant experience Other Information: Designation: Associate, Skill-Ed, Student Mobilizer.
