Job Description DEFINITION

Expert with a strong accounting background and interface to internal and external stakeholders. Mainly located on site in resident entity. Understands how changes in CDs impact the overall process. Understands the business model (based on detailed GB/BU/LE knowledge).Is responsible for operational accounting and reporting acc. to local GAAP & IFRS. Is responsible for preparation of balance sheet, P&L, networking capital, cash flow statement, notes. Is responsible for assigned MEC & YEC steps in global tools. Is first point of contact: for external auditors and can provide answers on tax topics (supports tax audits) for divisions, legal entities non-accounting departments and acts as interface. Is single point of contact for changes of local legal requirements Is responsible for process descriptions in the country

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Audit support and preparation of schedules Performs tasks in E2E processes/MEC Preparation/ Coordination/ Managing of QEC and FY closing (applicable for India), Preparation/ Coordination/ Managing of YEC (IFRS closing)prepares reporting to governmental authorities Identifies process weaknesses and initiates CIP (continuous improvement)Communicates regularly with divisions, legal entities Controls and monitors quality performance with KPIs (target KPI, service delivery, service specification)

ACTIVITY LIST Journal entry- recurring entry/batch posting/reversals Period Management - Closing schedule, Opening, closing & re opening of books Reconciliation activities at MEC/ QEC / YEC Prepare Asset Reports GRIR Regrouping / Non account assignment GL / Ensuring Balance sheet hygiene/ Clearing account reclassification Preparation of Schedules Depreciation for Local GAAP/IFRS Prepare disclosures according to SEBI LODR (Listing obligation & disclosure requirement)Support preparation of Q&A for investor conference calls Collaboration with respective resident and user departments in case of service request clarifications Analyze period end transactions

QUALIFICATIONS · CA qualified 3 to 6 years of work experience across external reporting in a manufacturing environment · Strong analytical skills and attention to detail is a MUST · Hands on experience with

SAP

is a MUST · Expert knowledge of financial reporting, IND AS/IFRS is preferred · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment · Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
